Bangkok — On 22 January 2026, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) officially operated its first flight with the Airbus A321neo, flight TG413, on the Bangkok–Singapore route — a significant milestone in the carrier’s fleet-modernisation strategy.

The inaugural flight was attended by Mr Kittiphong Sansomboon, Chief Executive Officer of Thai Airways, together with senior executives and partners, underscoring the importance of the new narrow-body type to the airline’s regional network.

“The A321neo brings a new standard of efficiency and comfort to our short- and medium-haul network.”

A more efficient fleet

The Airbus A321neo offers improved fuel efficiency, lower emissions and a quieter cabin, allowing Thai Airways to serve high-demand regional routes more sustainably while enhancing the on-board experience for passengers.

The type will progressively join THAI’s regional operations, supporting the airline’s plans to grow frequencies and add capacity on key intra-Asia routes.

Represented in Vietnam by HG Aviation

As Thai Airways’ General Sales Agent in Vietnam, HG Aviation supports the carrier’s passenger sales, distribution and trade engagement — keeping Vietnamese agents and travellers connected to THAI’s expanding regional network.
